When I first reached out to Lloyd about doing a Developmental Edit on my
book, I was nervous. I was familiar with copyediting, but never the
rigorous, red-lined nightmare I had come to associate with a dev edit.
But, I knew I needed it. So, I turned over my manuscript and waited with
bated breath.

What I received was not the red-lined nightmare I expected. It was a
thoughtful and logical approach to my story, looking at everything from
pacing, to character development, and even addressing some of my own
concerns specifically that I had voiced. Lloyd also offered me a
follow-up Skype call to address anything new that came up, and I did
take him up on it.
